The quieter you are, the better their game
Silent Support Weekend is a national initiative giving young players the chance to find their voice on the pitch. It allows space for them to talk to each other and make their own decisions, without confusing distractions from the sidelines.
Silent Support makes a big impact:
The last Silent Support Weekend in March had over one million players taking part, with 97% feeling behaviour improved, or stayed the same. So on 14th and 15th November, we’re doing it all over again.
Over 1 MILLION players took part in our March 2026 Silent Support Weekend!
How it works
Applause from spectators for good play is welcome, alongside quiet encouragement from coaches. Everything else has the weekend off! Speak to your league to find out if you are taking part.
