England's second game of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place at the Boston Stadium, in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The venue will host seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including five group stage games featuring the likes of France, Norway and Scotland, plus one round of 32 fixture and the first quarter-final. 

The City

Home to MLS side New England Revolution and NFL outfit New England Patriots, Boston Stadium hosted matches during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2003 and now has the largest outdoor high-definition stadium video board in the United States.

Fan Parks

The FIFA Fan Festival Boston will be open from 12 June to 27 June during the World Cup. Free and open to the public, the festival aims to showcase the energy, diversity, and creativity of the region. Fans must register for a pass in advance due to space limitations.

The festival will include live match broadcasts, a cultural showcase highlighting local artists, musicians, and performers, and food and drink from Boston restaurant chains including RedRed Kitchen, Dumpling Daughter, Stillwater Grille, The Sausage Guy, Si Cara Pizza, Summer Shack, Che Empanada, and El Jeffe’s.

Boston City Hall Plaza will become the home of the festival, with football-themed activities and entertainment throughout each day. Live music and DJs will keep the celebrations going into the evenings, with fans encouraged to attend and soak up the atmosphere. Find out more here.

Getting to Boston and where to stay

Trains: Fans are encouraged to travel to Boston Stadium using the Boston Stadium Trains and Boston Stadium Express. Tickets for both can only be purchased by match ticket holders and must be booked in advance. Fans may be asked to show match tickets to board services. Book your tickets here.

Bus: Fans can also get to the stadium using the Boston Stadium Express Bus, which covers Greater Boston and the surrounding region, including Boston Logan International Airport and Providence. The bus takes supporters from more than 20 pick-up locations to within a 10-minute walk of the stadium. Tickets must be booked in advance and only match ticket holders are eligible to purchase them. Planes: Boston is served primarily by Boston Logan International Airport, New England’s largest transportation hub. It offers direct flights to more than 100 domestic and international destinations, and provides convenient connections to onward public transportation. Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport is a similar distance from Boston Stadium, and is a smaller, less congested option.

Car: The stadium is around 28 miles from Boston city centre, so you should allow a minimum of 45 minutes to drive there. Congestion is expected on match days. Event parking at the stadium opens four hours before kick-off and it must be booked in advance. More information can be found here.
